Neighbors of the 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) revealed Jokowi’s habits after no longer being President of the Republic of Indonesia.
One of Jokowi’s neighbors who is also the former Regional Secretary of the City of Solo, Ahyani, said that Jokowi is still the same as when he was Mayor of Solo.
As published by Tribun Solo, Ahyani said Jokowi still often greets his neighbors whether he is President or not.
“In terms of personality, no (nothing has changed between ordinary citizens and the president). Still the same when he met in front of here. “Say hello, pray for each other,” he explained as published in Tribun Solo Tuesday (22/10/2024).
Meanwhile, a number of Paspampres personnel were seen still guarding the residence in Sumber, Banjarsari, Solo, Monday (21/10/2024).
However, Solo City Regional Secretary Budi Murtono explained that the number of Paspampres was not as large as when Jokowi was still President.
“Yesterday’s security during our meeting will still be accompanied by Paspampres. “It’s just that the groups are different,” explained Budi.
Even so, he has not received specific instructions on how the public can meet the seventh president.
“Officially, one mosque is registered with us,” he explained.
Jokowi admitted that he wanted to enjoy life like ordinary citizens while in Solo.
“We’ve never talked specifically. “When he goes to Solo, he wants to enjoy being an ordinary citizen,” he said.
Previously, Jokowi revealed his activities on the first day of no longer being President of the Republic of Indonesia.
The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia admitted that he would sleep and rest for two days at his residence Sumber, Banjarsari, Solo, Central Java.
Jokowi said that for 10 years he had worked hard so he wanted to rest.
