Baim Wong and Paula Verhoeven did not greet each other when attending the first divorce trial with a mediation agenda at the South Jakarta Religious Court today.
Baim arrived early at around 09.00 WIB. He then had to wait several hours until it was his turn to enter the courtroom.
Paula then went to the South Jakarta religious court at around 11.30 WIB. He went straight to the courtroom, right after Baim entered and sat in the room.
However, they didn’t seem to greet each other even though they were in the same room. Baim remained in his seat on the left, while Paula immediately sat on the right.
They were also asked to come before the chief judge to examine the files and administrative documents. However, again there was no interaction between the two celebrities.
The trial then opened and the judge gave an overview of the progress of the mediation. However, the mediation agenda was suspended because it was entering break time.
The mediation session was then scheduled to start again at 13.00 WIB and was attended by Baim Wong, Paula Verhoeven, and a mediator.
Baim Wong officially filed a divorce request against Paula Verhoeven. He first confirmed this on Tuesday (8/10) afternoon.
Baim’s request for divorce from Paula came after the two had been married for almost six years and several months after their marriage was hit by negative news.
In the last few months, it has often been rumored that Baim and Paula’s household has cracked. This rumor emerged because netizens realized that Baim Wong and Paula were increasingly rarely seen together in public.
Baim Wong and Paula Verhoeven were blessed with two sons while building their household. The first child, known as Kiano, was born on December 27 2019, followed by Kenzo on October 9 2021.
